Will you help clean up 💜Paradise.....? 💜.... one for the locals here in Eastbourne.... Paradise Drive is an aptly named peach of a road that loops around the Royal Eastbourne Golf Course and borders on the wooded foothills of the South Downs National Park, which slope upwards in a lush green display of Sussex Downland flora and bushes.... and yet it is pretty much full of roadside liter all around its swooping length..... so let's get out and see how much of this mess we can remove... it is definitely a wildlife habitat and corridor, and there is way to much plastic trash and other rubbish in amongst all the greenery....( that should not be there ).... meet just before 10.ooam near the Golf Club entrance and grab a bag or two and head out and fill them... hi viz vests are advisable as this is a roadside clear up.... its a wide road without pavements in some places and with pavements in the more residential sections... so choose your spot.... and litter pick.... between us all we can clean up Paradise and have some fun... there are interesting areas to explore and some lovely places and features to enjoy.... plus there are wooded areas for quiet moments away from the road... local residents Mike Lawrence and his family are facilitating this clean up and they are going to put out some snacks and soft drinks for us all and they are calling on local residents to join with the regular Green Sock Movement volunteers in this day long endeavour to clean up Paradise Drive and the green spaces that surround it.... so please come and join us at any time during the day and say hello... this is a family friendly and fully inclusive environmental event with something for everyone to do... we can sort the trash into recyclable categories and support eachothers efforts as we go.... All 💚 Welcome All Day.... find out more about our environmental activities by visiting our www.bhassexplore.com website or BHASSEXPLORE Facebook page and join us if you can .... thank 💚 you 💚
